My name is Vanessa Joubert, a qualified dance teacher affiliated with A.I.D.T, with over 30 years of professional experience across the film, theatre, and performing arts industries.

After studying Graphic Design and Theatre Crafts at Pretoria Technikon, I immersed myself in multiple creative disciplines, working both behind the scenes and on stage. My career has taken me from theatre design, props, and costumes to dance and performance, collaborating with renowned names and institutions such as David LaChapelle, Charlize Theron, and the Pretoria State Theatre, and contributing to productions including My Fair Lady, Sun International, and numerous South African and international films. I have also owned and operated a dance studio in Gauteng.

This full-circle journey through the creative industries has equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and real-world insight that I am passionate about passing on to the next generation.

After struggling to find the kind of comprehensive, industry-ready training I envisioned for my own daughters in Cape Town, I founded my studio with a clear purpose: to offer more than just dance and drama classes. My mission is to educate, guide, and prepare children for the wide range of careers available within the film and theatre industries, both onstage and behind the scenes.

I strive to create a new standard of learning—one that leaves children confident, skilled, and fully prepared to step into the real world inspired, informed, and excited about their future. This is about building careers that don’t require a backup plan, but become the plan.
